Personal Statement
I aspire to be the best that I can be. Softball is not only a sport but it is a way to help me get the education that will help me be the best in my dream career. School is very important to me. I put 110% into every question I answer and I keep all attention into class. In my family we are taught to never be a basic learner but to be an advanced learner. To get the best possible grade and not accept anything lower.
When I am not studying for my upcoming tests I am training as hard as I can. If my head is not in a book I can be found in the batting cage, field, or weight room. Every person has potential and I work to get closer and closer to mine. To be the best athlete is to reach that potential and possibly even change it into something bigger. To become more than ever imagined and I want to find a coach and team that will push me to just do that.
I am a unique person. Now you may be thinking "Oh I hear this all the time," but I believe that I actually am. I think that everyone can do big things in their lives and that no one has to do a certain thing because they were 'born into it'. I stand up for all of the kids that I see get pushed around or bullied. I spread my compassion to all that need it and I show as much empathy that is needed. But I also believe that people cannot be reckless, that if they do something wrong they need to be taught that it was not acceptable. All people are equal and it should be made that way. I am a leader, I will take the thoughts of others and lead them to do what is the best for the group.
In a whole thought I would absolutely love to play college softball with a team that will push me and a school that will teach me what I need to know.
