Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing softball in the 4th grade I knew I wanted to play at the college level. I asked my parents to find any and every camp they could find so I could go. I went my first overnight college camp that summer. Since then I have continued to learn as much as possible about the game to improve my skills.
My coaches will tell you I have an excellent work ethic, am extremely coach-able, and have an unrelenting competitiveness to win. I switched positions from a pitcher/position player to a full time catcher/infield corners over the winter.
As hard as I work on the field and in the gym, I work equally as hard in the classroom to maintain a high GPA. This year I am taking AP and high level science classes to prepare myself for college. I will start taking the ACT this summer.
My goal is to be able to attend a school that will let me to get my Masters in Athletic Training or Bachelors Pre-Athletic Training while having the privilege to play competitive college softball.
