With regards to character, I value wisdom, honesty and hard work, qualities my Christian upbringing undoubtedly instilled within me. My involvement with various athletic teams has taught me the importance of respect and perseverance in all aspects of life. Favoring action over simple words, I tend to lead quietly, but will speak up when necessary. Most of all, the beauties of athletics have taught me to value success in academics and relationships, as the work ethic required for sports applies even more so to life outside athletics.
