Softball came into my life when I was searching for “my thing.” I had no clue what sport or activity I wanted to participate in and decided to give softball a chance.
At seven-years-old, I was the youngest player on a ten and under team. Being a younger player waiting for my chance to play taught me patience. As I have moved my way up through different teams, I have had the opportunity to help the younger players. Younger players looking up to me motivates me to set a good example for them.
Softball is my passion and I would love to compete at the college level. The competition of the game, as well as the opportunity to meet new people are two of the best things about playing softball.
While I love softball, the most important thing to me is my academic career. I have learned throughout the years that my grades are much more than a letter or number. I strive to work just as hard on my studies as I do on the softball field.
