My name is Hayleigh Pabst I am a Junior at Newfound Regional High School in Bristol New Hampshire. I personally don't remember a time when I haven't been playing softball. At 4 years old I started off as a catcher, my parents couldn't get me to take my gear off. Catching was my primary position until I about 12 years old when I started pitching. Throughout this time I started working my way around the diamond because I wanted to be able to play every position on the field. While I was working on different positions I started to spend a lot of time at shortstop and have been the starting shortstop for my high school since my freshmen year. I honestly just want to play the sport I've loved since I was 4 years old so the position I play does not matter to me as long as I am on the field. Not only do I want to be playing softball in college but I also want to study sports medicine and kinesiology to get my license in athletic training.
