Personal Statement
At the age of four, I picked up my first ball, bat and glove to play T-Ball. Through the years, my passion for softball has grown and become a big part of my daily life. I enjoy all aspects of the game from hitting home runs to robbing them in the outfield. I have had the opportunity to work with many coaches and play a variety of positions. I now proudly play left field and third base and received Second-Team All-League Infielder. While I realize this is an honor, I also understand that my work isn't finished. There are ways to improve my abilities and use my skills to contribute to the overall success of a team.
I am interested in an undergraduate program that allows me to pay-it-forward. I enjoy the opportunities that come from helping others. I want to explore the fields of health sciences, physical therapy and physical education / coaching. I want the satisfaction each day that I made a difference in someone's life.
With my personality, dedication to the sport, and commitment to contributing to the community, I would be a welcomed addition to your school and your softball program.
I hope to see you on and off the field!
