I would like to introduce myself. I am currently a senior at Passaic High School in Passaic, NJ. I have played softball for fours years as a 3rd baseman and catcher for all four years on the varsity level. I am 5'3" tall and weigh 155 pounds. I was selected selected All-Big North last year and honorable mention my junior yr. My current GPA is 3.24 on a 5.5 scale. My SAT scores are as follows, Math 370, Reading 430 and Writing 440 for a combined score of 1240. Softball has become one of the few things I can genuinely show who I really am. Over the years I have grown as a player and as a person. All the hardwork I have put into this sport is paying off. You have to be willing to put in the work to get results and everyday I am striving to become a better player. Over the past years I have been the starting 3rd base and catcher for my high school team. It is a privilege and also a great experience to be able to play these positions. Although I am a starter I try to perfect my game little by little. There is never not enough room for improvement. I am willing to keep working to earn a place on a roster and on the field most importantly. However school is my main priority sports are always second. I am striving to peruse a career in the criminal justice field. With Regards to my game level and academic level I am hoping it will take me somewhere I can expand on both.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Martinez #14
