My primary major will be in the field of Chemistry. I want to play softball for a school where I can use my power and speed to help lead a team to a national championship. I am a self motivated and very disciplined softball player. I play for both my high school and a travel team and I attribute my success to hard work and dedication. I have played varsity all three years for Rahway High School and in my 61 games career, my statistics have been uploaded, not including playoffs. (Stats are according to MaxxPreps.com).
My travel team is "KRAZE" out of Carteret, NJ. Our final tournament was played on July 26th and 27th, I hit three homeruns; two (2) over the fence and one (1) inner park. During this summer I hit five (5) homeruns over the fence and I had four inner park homeruns, as well as several triples and doubles. I will be an asset to your team, because I play hard, every minute of every inning, one pitch at a time. I stay focused in the field and I run the bases hard.
I have a GPA of 4.7 and I am ranked #3 out of a graduating class of 255. My SAT score is 1800 with 620 in Math and 590 in reading comprehension. I am as diligent in my studies as I am on the softball field. I have taken all honor classes and two (2) AP (Advanced Placement) classes in my three years of high school, and I am a high honor roll student.
My grades, SAT scores, softball statistics, along with my drive and work ethic makes me a very good candidate for any division 1 school. I will improve any team and continue to learn as my career progresses. I am an excellent candidate to lead off any lineup or hit cleanup, if necessary. I have a fast bat and a lot of power. My speed allows me to round the bases and cover a lot of ground in the outfield. I am just hoping a college coach gives me an opportunity to showcase my talents on the field. I thank you in advance for the opportunity.
