Personal Statement
As a college athlete, I aspire to have fun and work hard for what I love doing. I have been playing softball for almost 5 years now and I played baseball on a club team for 5 years prior to that. Softball and Baseball have always been something that I was just naturally good at, but the deeper I got into the sport the more I realized how perfectly we fit together. I believe I could be a good candidate for your team because I have the spirit and devotion to keep pushing, I'll never give up and that is a promise, this is what I've done all my life and it is what I'll continue to do.
Getting better and learning are what really surprise me about this sport, I notice that no matter how good you are you can always get better and as competitive as I am, I want to be the best. This sport is basically 50% of my life and Im devoted to it.
In college I want to take a pathway to study medical sciences and aim to get my doctorates in the medicinal field. All my life I have found myself wanting to help others. I have a deep passion and understanding for the sciences. I always try my best to stay ahead of the game with school and I realize that school comes first always. I also recognize that within myself I am a very theatrical person as well. I was also a former child actor.
Acting and music have been huge aspects of my life as well. Seeing differently doors open for me regarding care pathways and learning more about life are what excite me!
Though I have had some hurdles to jump, I feel very willing to put the work in as soon as possible.
