"Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game" (Babe Ruth). Hello my name is Tessa Warner. I'm 17 years old and this is my 12th year in softball. I have played in travel softball, babe ruth, and school softball. I can play any position however my main positions are pitcher and third base. This is my 7th year pitching, I know fastball, change up, curve, screw, drop, rise, inside and outside. Being my 12th year I am focused on making myself the strongest player I can be and seeing what other coaches teach to compare it to what I have learned and use the best one I can. My goal for my future in softball is to get into a college that offers me a starting position and also get scholarships to help me in that part of college.
As forth academics I have a GPA of 94.2 out of 100. I have been on honor roll ever since I have been in the high school. I'm an A student, in other words I'm a bookworm. On top of academics I help tutor students in algebra with a grade that's falling. I do lots of after school activities on top of these. One being 4-h, I have been in 4-h for 8 years, doing animal projects and other activities. I was a part of the committee for the rabbit program. I also talk to legislative during monthly meetings and fair week. I also help get funding for the program in general. 4-h is a huge part of my life, along with softball.
