Amanda Kiser '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. I have always dreamed of eventually playing in college. I know that playing in college is an excellent opportunity and very hard to come by.

I try to lead by a good example for my teammates on and off the field as well as my peers at school. I put forth all of my effort to be one of the hardest working student athletes at school and on the diamond. Even though I might not always be on top, whether I'm on the field or in the classroom, I challenge myself to be the best in achieving my goals. I am always setting the bar to new heights. I am motivated by my desire to be the best at what I may be doing. Through hard work, good sportsmanship and using constructive criticism from others as a learning tool I have found this to be my best path toward success. 

At school, I study hard and take my education seriously to keep my GPA at its highest. I involve myself in my school's extracurricular activities such as the Italian club, winter track and volleyball. I seek extra help and ask questions to learn and understand all that I am being taught.

I would like to attend a college where my hard work and motivation, whether it be on the diamond or in the classroom will give me the best experiences that I can carry with me for the rest of my life. I am open to all of the options available to me and would ultimately love to find the right college for me academically and athletically at the highest level possible. I strive to be a hard working student athlete to make my parents, teachers and coaches proud.
