Personal Statement
In college, I hope to continue my softball career because I love the sport. I can bring a very competitive spirit to the team and also experience in the sport. I had missed my junior season of softball due to a minor knee injury in which I underwent surgery and was recovered in 2 months and back to playing. What I believe that really sets me aside from other recruits for the sport is I will do whatever it takes to win a game, even if it means I do not get to play in a game. I also love to have fun with the sport while also knowing when it is time to get down to business. In my freshman and sophomore season I had received the Coach's Award. This award was given to the player who always did what the coach asked of and did it without question and also helped out the coach in every way possible. Academically, I stand third in my class. I am involved in a very academic rigorous program called New Visions Health Careers Exploration. In this program I take English 12 honors, Government and Economics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Terminology which I am receiving three SUNY Adirondack credits for. In this class I am maintaining a GPA of 93.5/100. This program also allows me to look at most, if not all, of the medical careers to better help me decide which path I want to take. As of now, I would like to get my doctorate in Physical Therapy.
