Personal Statement
At an early age I realized that I had a strong passion for softball. I enjoy playing softball because it is both physically and mentally challenging - as a team and as an individual. Softball inspires consistent learning, growth, strength, quick thinking, overcoming challenges, identifying gaps that need to be filled or using them to your advantage in order to be successful. Softball helped me become me as I played throughout the years. It taught me how to pick people up in the worst situations and how to become a leader and help my teammates and others to stay positive and always keep their heads high. Softball helped me become the type of person I am today.
Over the years, I’m proud of the person I’ve become from playing this sport. My coaches and teammates consider me a strong leader, uplifting the team or a teammate that is in need, both on and off the field. I am considered a fair person that gives good advice, and who leads by example. Many people come to me in times of stress to look to me for comfort and help when they do not know what to do, and I try my best to help them. I am honest and believe in making good choices to obtain good results. I am a coachable, respectful team player who is determined to be better than the day before.
I would like to make a positive impact on a team that represents their school with pride and integrity while allowing me to grow as an individual in athletics and education. I want to be a part of a family that is going to make my future fulfilled with greatness. I hope to continue my journey in playing softball to the highest level possible while I obtain the education that will facilitate a successful career.
