Softball has been one of the biggest influences in my life and it has truly shaped me to be the person I am today. It has taught me perseverance and dedication. It has taught me that even though you may fail sometimes, it is how you handle that failure and maximize what you learned from it so you can be successful the next time. I never give up, never quit; I am a fighter, value the importance of teamwork and I take it very seriously. I cannot be out-hustled, because my work ethic is distinguished and exceptional.
With the aspiration to play at a collegiate level, since I was 6 years old, I would prefer to play for a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career versus a school where it may take me a couple of years to get on the field. Good grades in high school are very important to me because it reflects who you are as a person and what you value. Therefore, I strive to be the best I can be in the classroom as well as on the field.
Since I am a Jr., I haven’t quite nailed down my major in college, although I have three areas of interest. I am interested in Criminal Justice, the military, or potentially becoming an elementary PE teacher. Helping others, protecting the values of our great nation, and encouraging children in a positive way through exercise is important to me and why I am leaning towards these areas of study. I volunteer at the local food bank and participate in our youth mission programs throughout my community.
I am a highly competitive athlete who values teamwork and an exceptional work ethic. I am a highly coachable team player that not only respects others but also strives to help others and the community in which they live. So not only would you be recruiting an exceptional athlete, who is dedicated to being the best I can be, but an athlete that will no doubt add value to your school.
