Softball creates a bond with your teammates and coaches that is unbreakable. I have always respected and cherished this special bond. At the end of the day it is my greatest desire to be able to say that I have inspired my teammates half as much as they have inspired me.  My coaches have told me that one of my most valuable assets is my ability to stay positive and focused even when the game is not going our way.  Coming through in a clutch situation is what I thrive on. When we do get down in a game I will always try to step in and give my teammates the motivation and praise they need to continue the game with a level head and positive outlook. 

As a pitcher I have to work just as hard on my individual position as I do at team practice. I continuously practice and work hard to get better defensively  as well as offensively. I try my best to set a positive example for my teammates and give 100% all the time. I like be the first to arrive and the last to leave all practices and games. I believe that is one of the reasons almost every team I have been on, my coaches and teammates have chosen me to be team captain or co-captain. At the end of every camp, tournament,  game, and practice, as well as in life...I always want to be able to say, “I left it all on the field”.
