Martha Fluharty '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'2" middle infielder from Halifax, NC and a rising senior at Halifax Academy. I have started for the past three years and have been elected All-Conference each year, as well as, All-State my sophomore year. In addition to softball, I have lettered in both volleyball and basketball . My junior year I was also voted All-Conference in volleyball. For the past 5 years I played with the Stretchlon Lady Stars out of Rocky Mount, NC. I have a strong work ethic and know the personal commitment it takes to be a successful student athlete. My goal since the 7th grade is to attend college and play collegiate softball. My ideal school is a Christian college, but am open to all other types of colleges. I am a leader who wants to be a team player who will contribute to create or sustain a successful softball program. Ideally the college I attend is east of the Mississippi River. I am also looking for a college with a strong academic program in nursing or business.
