Personal Statement
I am a senior at Rolesville High School, which is near Raleigh, NC. My graduation year is 2017. I have made all A's in my first three years and have an unweighted GPA of 4.0. My weighted GPA is 4.7 and ACT score is 29. I am vice president of the National Honor Society and a member of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) and FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). In softball, I am a good hitter and versatile player. I can play Pitcher, 1B, 2B, SS, and Outfield. When I am not pitching, my best positions are 2B and OF. When I pitch, I can throw fastball, curve, screw, drop, drop-curve, rise, and change-up. I love throwing screwballs and backdoor curves to right hand batters. I pitched a No-Hitter for my high school in April, 2015. When I bat, I put the ball in play, rarely strike out, and can bat right or left. During my three years of playing HS varsity softball, I have been named All-State, All-District, All-Conference, & Academic All-Conference and named Rolesville High School's Most Outstanding Player and Defensive Player of the Year. In the fall of 2016, I received the Distinguished Athlete Award from the United States Marine Corps. For showcase tournaments, I play on the NC Challengers Blue team (#12).
