Hello, I'm Tristyn Struck and I’m a shortstop/center field and utility player from Fargo, ND. I graduate in 2027 and love-love-love softball. I don’t care what position I’m playing as long as I’m playing, although I do enjoy shortstop best.
My 7th Grade year I was given the opportunity to be a starter on the Varsity High School team and was awarded Rookie of the Year ending the season with a BA of 528, Slug% 583, PO 51 and Fld% of 984.
In the spring 2023 (8th Grade year), I had the opportunity to start play on the first ever Horace High School Softball team. The school is new and the team consists of 7-9 graders playing at the Varsity Level. I was honored by MVP of my team and made the ND Eastern Dakota Conference Team. If you are interested, please check my stats and the press links of how the team is doing.
Last summer I played on 2 league teams (U14 and U18) and was a starter on my travel team (U14). This fall I joined the NDElite (U18) Travel Team and had an opportunity to play against some junior colleges and am looking forward to the last tournament of the year (TigSports 6-4-3 Fall Fiesta) in Tuscon, Arizona.
I was selected to attend the Softball Factory Christmas Select Training and Tournament in Cocoa, FL and can't wait to see what I learn to improve my game.
This fall, I am preparing to travel with NDElite, play league and ump games. I'm preparing for the 2023-2024 softball season by Strength Training, Acceleration, Private Lessons, and open gyms throughout the week.
When I’m not playing softball, I spend my free time at private lessons or strength training. One of my biggest strengths are my hustle, teamwork and knowledge of the game. I give 110% on the field and strive to leave every game with a dirty uniform. I’m one of the fastest base runners on my team and am aggressive at stealing bases.
Academically, I just got back NDSTAR testing and both Math and Reading are at a Junior (11 grade) level. I haven’t decided on future major, but I enjoy my math classes the most.
