Hi, my name is Halie Jo Miller and I’m 16 years old. I’m from Albany, Ohio and attend Alexander Local Schools. My dream has always been to play collegiate softball. Softball has been a passion of mine since I started. I first started playing youth baseball for 2 years then found girls youth softball and that’s when my love for the game began. It’s been a long but memorable journey that I wouldn’t trade in.
My goals for college is to become an Elementary Education Teacher and also continue playing softball. I believe I would fit in with just about any team because of my work ethic and my ability to make new friends with the same passion as mine. I believe in working hard for what you want and to not give up or give in. I’m a strong believer in you get what you put in.
Academically I also work hard and try and better myself every year with taking honor courses at my high school. My academics has been a high priority since I started playing sports. I knew my grades had to be good to continue to play. So with school, work and playing multiple other sports it teaches me to manage my time wisely.
My life motto is...You can always do something for a day. Push through the hard times and the end results seemed to out-weigh the hardships.
Thank you for your time.
-Halie
