Personal Statement
My goals after high school graduation in 2016, are to attend a well rounded University that will allow me to pursue my desire to study physical sciences, as well as play softball at the collegiate level. The college of my choosing should have strengths in many different courses of study so that in the event I decide to change my major, I do not have to change my school or my team. I am a very athletic catcher and well rounded Utility player. My biggest strengths are my reaction time, my speed and athleticism, and my leadership! I never give up and always give my team and my coaches 110%. IT'S NEVER OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER! Sometimes all it takes is a deep breath and one good inning to come back and win the game! A coach that treats their players with respect will be returned by me with mutual respect, dedication, and of course WINS! My future plans are to attend graduate school so my grades are very important to me! I am very honored to have been inducted into The National Honor Society in March, 2015. I also like to travel and spend time with friends, as well as give back to the community. Underprivileged youth programs are my favorite causes to volunteer for. I also am a three year letter winner with a very recognized high school division 1 soccer team as a Goal Keeper and received the 2014 Federal League Player of the Year Award. This keeps my skills and agility sharp, while keeping me in great shape! My coach is very big on well rounded athleticism. I hope to find a school in or near a city or town with lots of things to do if I have time to get away. Focus is key but physical and mental breaks are important too!
