When I was younger I played every sport possible but I only truly fell in love with one, softball. Ever since I played tee ball and coach pitch I knew I wanted to succeed in this sport. It wasn't until I was nine when I started playing travel ball that I saw an aspect of the game that made it twenty times better. The pitching was faster, the competition was harder, and the hitting was better. This was a chance to challenge myself, I fell in love with every part of the game just thinking about softball excites me. I love challenging myself not only in softball but also academics and life in general. I love the competition and pressure when it's the bottom of the seventh 2 outs, we are down by one with a runner on second and third and I am up to bat. I love that feeling when your team wins a big game. One of the best parts about softball is that it is a team sport. There are over 200 things that happen in a game, the team that makes less mistakes will win the game. Having an opportunity to play in college is a huge dream of mine and I would love for it to come true.
