Personal Statement
Since I first picked up a softball and glove, it has been my goal to play softball at the college level! Through softball, I have met a lot of girls who have become friends which has helped me come out of my introverted shell. Many of these friends are now like sisters to me. I have played travel ball since I was ten years old. When I decided to get more serious, I started training every day I could even if I had to practice by myself. I have been working with a pitching coach for 4 years and a hitting coach for 1 year, so I have tremendously improved and will continue to do so.
I may be one of the shortest and quietest person to meet, but I can still make a difference on the field! When I make mistakes, which I will, I'll brush them off and try harder. Instead of dwelling on my mistakes, I learn from them! I don't want one mistake to throw off the whole game for myself or my teammates!
