Personal Statement
I do enjoy writing, however for your sake I will attempt to keep this to a minimum. Greetings! I'm Bianca, as you probably know, but I also go by just "Bee". I'm sure you've viewed many profiles of very talented players, therefore this is just another personal statement written to "gloat" about one's academic and athletic accomplishments. My profile speaks for itself academically. Personally, I've always enjoyed school. Ever since I was little, grades have been an important part of my life. I like a good challenge in the classroom as well as on the field, therefore the courses I've taken over the years have been honors. I plan on going to college for veterinary medicine. It is a difficult field, but its the only thing I've ever wanted to further my studies in.
Softball means everything to me, it's the thing I do to clear my mind, it's the dose of adrenaline that keeps me going. The team is my family, through thick and thin I'll always be there to lift their spirits. I love everything about it's free flowing nature, every game is a new lesson. "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" -Tim Notke. Both academically and athletically, I feel like this quote encompasses my being as a whole. I worked hard to get myself to where I am now, my achievements were not handed to me and I am grateful for it. One has to chase what they want, a silver spoon heeds more than it helps.
