Jessica Voitko '20 Recruiting Profile

I am known for my leadership skills both on and off the field.   From a young age, playing first base has come naturally to me but I have also worked hard to be an effective left-handed pitcher.   Although I lack a high pitching speed right now, I am able to vary my speed between pitches and can rely on my movement and defense.  What I enjoy most is being able to produce hits and runs while playing both sides of the game.

I have always been a student of the game and look forward to applying my knowledge and experience, one day, as a coach.  

I am still undecided on my education major but am interested in colleges with strong Psychology, Business Administration or Teaching undergraduate and graduate degrees.  I would also love to minor in Spanish with whatever major I choose.  I know that my collegiate goals include excelling in both my academics and softball while maintaining a healthy balance between the two.   I understand the importance of having the right mindset and am truly looking forward to my collegiate experience.
