Kate Smith SoftballPersonal Statement
My goals for college is to be the best I can be for the team. I want to make an impact in the softball world and expand my skills in softball. I have been playing softball for over 10 years now and my love for the sport keeps on growing every year. I am inspired by so many college softball players and always dream to play like they do. I am a good candidate for the team as I am a hard worker and patient. My goal to improve everyday is evident in always challenging my coaches to challenge me. Traits that set me apart include perseverance, dedication, and drive. In academics I always strive to have a 3.5 GPA or higher. I always make sure I study and make the most in my classes. I have learned that I used to be hard on myself and it would take a toll on the team, but I learned how not to be as hard and to learn from my mistakes and move on and not make the same ones. In High School I want to graduate with Honors and graduate with many academic scholarships while also being a member of National Honors Society. For my academic goals in college I want to graduate with my Masters and have my MD in Pediatric Oncology and have background with nursing too.
