I started playing softball when I was 4-years old in T-ball. My love for the sport has grown more and more each year. I have learned and seen how hard work and patience pays off as I was given the opportunity to pitch for our varsity high school team, recording 101 strikeouts for my Freshman year.
I aspire to be better than the day before. I want to lead by example. I listen and take criticism as an athlete should, with open ears, an open mind, and the ability to take what I am told and work to be better.
I am involved in my church, the varsity basketball team and my local FFA chapter. My beliefs are important to who I am. I believe in being trustworthy, having faith and being a positive role model. I enjoy showing livestock, giving speeches, being part of our FFA CDE Opening Ceremonies Team, and playing basketball with our varsity team. I maintain a 4.0 GPA amidst my activities and was voted the JH Student of the Year by my teachers for the 2021-2022 school year.
Given the chance to play college softball would make my dreams a reality.
