Personal Statement
Being a freshman and starting as pitcher for my high school team has taught me a lot. Being out there, I realize people's attitudes rely on me, so if I give up or don't do that well we aren't much of a team. I've learned that if I'm getting frustrated to think about what I need to do pitching, and battle through the inning. I'm normally a quiet person but being on the field has taught me to break out of my shell, talk and be a leader. Being on a team playing softball is my favorite thing to do. Playing ball has helped me make so many memories and new friends that will last a long time.
At school, my number one priority is to make good grades. I've always been taught that your grades and school is more important than most things. I always strive to make A's. If it drops below that, I'll do anything to bring that grade back up. Just like on the field, it may be tough, but I will do what it takes to get the job done.
In college, I want to major in physical science to become a meteorologist.
