Personal Statement
I started catching at six years old, and fell in love with every aspect of the sport of softball. Everything I had learned was on my own, by trial and error, and by watching videos. Now that I am older, I have been getting training, and I love the hard work I have to put in to become the best I can be. I know there is never a stopping point to improvement, but I am willing to go well beyond what it takes to help my team and myself reach our goals. I have recently began to mentor catchers from four years to eleven years old. They are so cute and have learned so much already. I am now helping coach 12u and 14u rec teams. With the dedication of eleven girls I never knew before, we were able to become the champions of the 2016 Jr. All-American tournament in Venice, Fl. I have recently been awarded the best offensive player of the year and Shortgrass All Conference through my high school ball team as a Sophomore. I know grades are important for my future and I am an principal's honor role student and also on the National Honor Society. I have a 3.78 GPA, and going to get it higher. Thank you for your time.
