Taylor Surface '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 2019 graduate of Union High School in Tulsa Oklahoma.  I am very interested in playing softball at the collegiate level.  I have been playing competitive softball since I was eight years old.  I believe I am a versatile athlete in the field playing second base, third base, catcher, left and right fields either for my Union High School team or my competitive organizational team – Oklahoma Bedlam. 

As a high school freshman, I have already registered with the NCAA and NAIA Eligibility Centers.  I am on track in my core courses with a core GPA of 3.4. I plan over the next three years to have my high school download transcripts and ACT scores to both NCAA and NAIA Eligibility Centers and make sure that I comply with division one, division two and NAIA standards.  I’m interested in the medical field but I have not made up my mind on what I want to major in college yet. 

My mind is not made up on what college I wish to attend.  Or, which NCAA division I want to commit to.  I have recently noticed how good NAIA schools and softball teams really are! I'm not dead set on DI or DII schools. That does not mean DI has all the great softball athletes. They don't. I want a good college education and compete with a good softball team.

I am a committed ,strong willed athlete and will be dedicated to whatever college I go to.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to meeting you over the next three years of the competitive softball and High School seasons.
