Personal Statement
I was devastated when my parents told me I had to quit baseball to go play softball with other girls. I loved playing ball with the boys because I was faster than most of them. That speed has helped me out in softball. When I was 9 my coach realized it would be best utilized batting from the left side. I am happy to have made the switch to Softball. I’ve developed close friendships with some awesome girls. I love competing at the highest levels. Winning a State title my freshman year is the highlight of my career so far.
When I go after something I put my whole heart into it. In school I enjoy participating with theater. Whether it’s behind the scenes or on stage I truly give it my all. I am currently serving in Associated Student Body (ASB) as public relations officer. I like letting everyone know about the happenings going on around them.
After high school I’m looking forward to pursuing a teaching degree. I believe all kids deserve a quality education from quality teachers. I’m hoping to be one of them.
