"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." -Eleanor Roosevelt. I believe that dreams can come true, but only for those who put in hard work and determination into achieving them. My biggest dream is to play collegiate softball because it challenges me physically, mentally, and emotionally. The constant drive to perfect my softball skills and learn the heart and soul of the game is a challenge that I have learned to love.
I bring a lot of energy and passion to the game by cheering my teammates on and focusing on the task at hand. I hustle and give my best effort in practice and in games. I believe that building strong relationships with each of my teammates provides a solid foundation for any team. I try my best to keep up with my studies and grades. When tough situations arise, I always stay optimistic and work to find a solution. I strive to be a positive role model not only for my teammates, but also for the entire student body. I believe with my work ethic and my determination, I will be an asset to your school and the team.
I want to attend a University that not only has a competitive softball program, but also has a strong academic curriculum in my field of choice. I enjoy meeting new people and traveling to new places. I look forward to learning more about your school and what it has to offer on and off the field. In the mean time, I will continue to work hard to achieve my goal and my dream.
Thanks,
Abby Smearman
