I will be a 2024 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School (in Johnstown, PA). I have been a starter in every game since my freshman year. I also play on the local recreational team and have played travel softball since I was 10 years old. My family and I are very dedicated to softball and we believe that playing softball at the collegiate level will be integral to my academic success in college. I am looking for a small to medium sized school with a softball coach who values academics and structure (required study hours with the team, scheduled work outs, regular meetings for freshmen with the coach). I'd like to stay within a few hours drive from Johnstown, so that my family will be able to attend home games to support the team.
Financial assistance will be important to me in the college selection process, as my family will have a high need (I have three brothers at home, who also play sports). While my hope has always been to play D1 softball, I want to be able to make a contribution to the team during my freshman year, so I am keeping my options open for any level of college play.
I believe that I can be an asset to a college-level softball team, not only on the field, but as a teammate, as well. I make friends easily and my teammates say that my sense of humor is an important part of our time together in the dug out, locker room, and on the field. Although I'm pretty hilarious, I take the game of softball very seriously and I play each game with a lot of passion. I leave my heart on the field after every game and I give everything that I have each time at bat and during every play on the field.
