Personal Statement

I believe strongly that an athlete does not define me, rather being athletic is a way of life that I chose to drive specific ambitions and develop core values as a life long learner to reach my fullest intellectual and athletic potential. My overall goal as an athlete is to achieve success at the highest level possible while abiding by the standards of good sportsmanship and ethical conduct. 

The values that resonate best with me personally and athletically are integrity, where I strive for high moral character, respect and honesty in all my actions; strength within my core community, which lead to strong vibrant relationships; individual responsibility, where I am committed to a learning environment both on the field and in the classroom; and competitive spirit where I will develop as a teammate to do my best while acting and competing in a way that reflect my overall goal and core values.
