As a little girl, I fell in love with a sport that has changed my life for the better. I’ve learned many different things from years of playing softball, including various techniques to become the best athlete I can be as well as characteristic traits, such as becoming a better team player and how to receive constructive criticism. Over the years, my love for the sport of softball has never faded, and I wish to continue playing for as long as I can. I have seen many injuries happen to teammates and myself over the years which has taught me to give my all, both physically and mentally, every time I step on to the field because I never know if it's going to be my last.
Not only do I want to continue playing softball at a high level, I want to continue to challenge myself in the classroom. Because I want to study kinesiology or physical therapy, I plan on taking rigorous classes in high school and college. I want to attend a college that will challenge me academically and athletically at the same time.
