Personal Statement
I started playing softball when I was seven years old; and by the time I was ten I knew that I wanted to play in college. Softball has taught me the importance of teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. I grew most as a player when I joined the Frost Falcons 2022 in 2017. My coaches have helped me with my technique, gave me the opportunity to try new positions, and gain more knowledge of the game. My teammates challenge me everyday by trying to be the best they can be, therefore making me better as well. I also learned the importance of being a good teammate during this time. I try my best to ensure that I am always uplifting and encouraging on and off the field. I've discovered that being vocal on the field helps myself and my teammates preform better.
I’m uncertain on what career I would like to pursue, but I’d like to major in psychology or criminal justice. I'm looking for a program that will be good for me athletically as well as academically. My work-ethic and leadership skills are something I am very proud to possess. I'm a diligent student and strive to be the best that I can be. I believe that with the assets I have to offer I would be a great addition to your program.
