Personal Statement
I have attended a magnet school since I was in kindergarten, and I currently attend the #1 academic high school in Tennessee for two years in a row (2017, 2018). I have been raised with high standards for myself academically. I am currently involved with Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, First Priority, and National Honors Society. This is my 6th year as a student-athlete at Central Magnet; my freshman year I was recognized on the all-freshman team in district 8AA and second team all- district my sophomore year in district 12AA.
I have spent most of my life at the field. Before I played, I was watching my brother pitch. I have always looked up to my older brother; he is the reason I became a pitcher. I am active in my youth group, and the summer of 2017 I had an amazing opportunity to serve the community of the north Denver area. Mission work and volunteer work has impacted my life to give back to the community around me. My sophomore year I had perfect attendance. In college, I want to study psychology and eventually get a doctorate degree in sports and performance psychology, so I can work with collegiate and professional athletes.
