Personal Statement
Hi my name is Hanna Bogoski. I am 5'6'' and 140 lbs softball athlete. Softball has always been apart of my life, ever since I played T-Ball. My freshman year of high school, I lead my team to State Quarter Finals as the starter catcher. That year I had a batting average of .360. I am so blessed for the wonderful experience I received through that year with the help of my coaches and my teammates. Through the hard times and good times of my freshman year those experiences built me as a player and a person! My sophomore year, I had the privilege to play for a top 16U team in Michigan. I was the starting catcher and the lead off hitter, hitting with a batting average of .380. We grew as a family and set goals to keep each other accountable. As I am in my Junior year, I reflect on what challenges I faced and what opportunities that I have been given and I can say that each situation has its own lesson that I have learned from! I just had to take the time, engage, and put in the work and in the end it all pays off! God has blessed me with the abilities and the love of this sport and every time I walk onto the field I want to play my best to glorify Him. Softball is a sport where you grow together as a team, a family, and show how hard works pays off. I want to further my softball experience through college! I am a person that loves being vocal behind the plate and wants to win! Thank you for your time!
