Personal Statement
My name is Elissa Cason, I am 17 years old and a Junior at Family Christian Academy. Ever since I was a little girl I have been around a family who enjoys sports, with that being said I have come to enjoy them as well. I always knew I wanted to play the sport I had an undying passion for at the collegiate level, which happens to be softball.
I am a very driven person and when I set a goal for myself I accomplish it no matter what obstacles may stand in my way. This drive I have also shows in my academics; I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my junior year. When I am not doing school work or improving my skills in softball, you would find me volunteering at church, at work, or hanging out with friends and my dog. With my senior year rapidly approaching, I am looking for a school that is going to push me academically and athletically. Although softball is a very crucial part of my life, academics always come first as my goal is to major in Pre-Medicine/Biological sciences and go on to be the Team Physician and surgeon for a major sports team. I strive to be the best version of myself I can be on and off the field, and I thank God everyday for giving me this amazing game we call softball.
