Hello, Sophia here!! I really look forward to seeing where God takes me while hopefully playing softball at the next level while acquiring a degree in journalism and youth ministry studies. Growing up playing softball and being involved in my local church have both helped make me into the young women I am today and have really taught me a lot about myself. This past school year, my junior year, I was unable to play the second round of district do to a fractured elbow from an unfortunate run in with the fence (Sophia: 0 - Fence:1). Despite the frustration of not being able to play, God really taught me some valuable lessons of leadership through that experience. I learned to rise up and became a leader for my team while doing what I could to do my part. My elbow is all healed up now and I have no hard feelings with the fence and I look forward to making my impact again on and off the field. Through that experience I learned what it means to be a leader and I hope to continue to be a leader to whatever team God leads me to next.
