I started out playing on a county softball league at the age of six. During that time I played multiple positions. Including catcher, 1st base, shortstop and anywhere in the outfield. I played in this county league for twelve years, then tried out for the high school softball team as a Freshman and made the team. In this year I played multiple positions and also played as a designated hitter and also a designated runner for the varsity team. I have now started on the varsity team for the last two years. My current tally for home runs is 18 in three years and my current batting average is 500. Throughout the 2015 softball season I have hit 9 home runs and I am placed second in the state for the most home runs out of all 2a-5a schools. I think that batting is definitely one of my strengths but I am also confident with my fielding skills. My college plans are to work on my generals and get a degree. Right now I am indecisive on a profession. However I am leaning towards being a Veterinarian Technician. I have done an internship and our local animal clinic and also was hired on as an employee. I love the game of softball and I hope to continue my career past the high school level.
