March 2021 Personal Statement
I started playing softball when I was 5. I was 10 when I realized how much I loved the sport. It was 3 years later that I found my spot on the field, as a pitcher. The circle is where I fight to be. I love leading my team and setting the pace of the game. I love the challenge of continuously developing and pushing myself physically and mentally. I’ve learned that I control my destiny and how hard I push myself is how far I’ll go in my pursuit of playing college softball. I’ve got a strong, stubborn, never quit mindset and I know this is something that helps me when I get in that circle. I look forward to continuing to develop and lead my teams to success.
