I have many goals for myself while finishing high school and through college. I have been contemplating what I want to pick as a major. In the next couple years of high school I am planning on finishing my two-year program of Marketing, and do a year class of Early Childhood Development. I’m taking these two classes in my school’s career center to help me make a decision on my major. I’m starting to lean towards the field of education. I would also like to take a college course or two during my senior year of high school so that I have college credits and experience when I start my actual college career. I have a very good work ethic, am well organized, and take on all tasks head on.
As an athlete I am very committed to what I do. I started playing sports when I was about 5 years old. My dad had been very into sports as a kid and I think that is why I started playing sports. I wouldn’t change anything about starting sports because sports have taught me a lot and has shaped me into the person I am today. I feel like I have better leadership and communication skills because of sports. On my softball teams I am looked up to by other teammates, and I like that kind of position on a team. I feel that on whatever team I may play for in college, I would be a great asset because of my drive, competitive nature, leadership skills, and dedication to my team.
