My college goals align with the goals I have had for myself since I was eight years old, when I told my parents I wanted to play college softball and then go to the Olympics. Currently my collegiate goals include competing at a high level of softball while earning a degree in teaching and/or coaching. I Have a dedicated, never give up kind of attitude that lends itself to my love of the game, my passion for pitching, and my perseverance to furthering my skills everyday. I also apply this dedication to my schoolwork where I have been in the Talented And Gifted program and am now currently taking college prep classes at Greensville Co. High School. My parents have instilled in me a good work ethic, to be a responsible person, and to give back to my community. In addition to my dedication to softball I also volunteer my time to teach younger athletes and help them further their skills. I Have recently made the Varsity Volleyball team at my High school where I am the starting setter. I am also a Volunteer Firefighter alongside my dad at our local Fire Department. I have been a member of the Emporia-Greensville 4H for the past six years where I am currently a 4H Summer Camp Counselor. I also hold a job as a waitress at our local pizzeria in my spare time. Through my experiences and continued growth as a student athlete I feel I would make a great addition to any softball program.
