I am a team player that is looking for a team environment where players encourage each other during practice and game time. I love playing Catcher and Short Stop, but have experience in playing all positions other than Pitcher and First Base. I also have a pretty good GPA (3.82 in 2016) and most of my classes since Middle School have been advanced classes. I have received several Presidential Awards for my grades and have been in Beta and/or Junior Honor Society since 8th grade.
Spring of 2015 was my first season as a Catcher on a travel team.
Currently (2016); when I am not catching during the travel team tournaments; I play short stop or center field. I play for the 16U Fredericksburg Lady Cardinals.
In 2013; I left rec ball and joined a travel team where I played for Paul Sowa for 5 seasons under the team names of Havoc and Lady Volcanoes. In 2015; I wanted to try the Catcher position; so I left Paul Sowa and joined the Spotsy Vipers where there were opportunities for me to learn this new position. In 2016; I left the Spotsy Vipers and joined the Fredericksburg Lady Cardinals to play with my sister and to get more tournament playing time (Spotsy Vipers generally played only 1 tournament a month where the Lady Cardinals play 3-4 tournaments a month).
School Ball: Played 2nd base and outfield in 6th and 7th grade for Caroline Middle School Played 2nd and outfield on the High School JV team during 8th grade. Played 2nd, 3rd, outfield, and was the backup catcher on the High School Varsity team during 9th grade.
Summary: I have played all positions other than pitcher and 1st base for my travel teams and school teams.
