Regan Harris '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Regan Harris; I am a sophomore at Central Senior High School in Victoria, VA I plan to major in architecture.  The purpose of this statement is to express my desire and passion to pursue softball at the next level. Softball has already offered me so many amazing opportunities and has connected me with fantastic coaches and players who I look up to as role models.  My ultimate goal is to play softball at the college level. I am not overly concerned of the division level; I just want to be on the field with a team. I saw my aunt play college softball and every since then I have wanted to fall in her footsteps and experience the bonds and life lessons she learned while playing.  I am willing to put whatever it takes in becoming the best softball player I’m capable of being. I know that academics come first but the bond with teammates help with the academic process to by having close friends to push me that are going through the same thing.  I believe that the only way to get better at something is by challenging and pushing yourself to the limit. This is why I find softball so appealing. Softball is not an easy game. It’s a game of precision, timing, and focus. I once heard that if softball was easy, everybody would play it.
