Taylor Minton '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Taylor Minton. I play for CA Bombers 18U Gold - AK. I am a multi-sport athlete at Auburn Mountainview High school. When I was little, all I wanted to do was to play multiple sports; the first sport I started out with was baseball. I loved the competition I was up against, considering I was a girl pitching against boys, which made me work even harder. As I got older, I had to switch to softball so I just transferred all my skills and everything I learned into softball. Ever since then, I have always had a strong and loving passion for the sport.  Whether I'm on or off the field I strive to give 100% effort in everything I do. I am very competitive and hard-working. The discipline I acquire from softball helps me succeed in all aspects of life; makes me grow as a person and a good teammate. Softball plays a big role in my life, I would like to compete at the next level and to obtain a degree in pharmacy.

Academically, I am currently a junior, becoming a senior by fall. I maintain a 3.8-4.0 GPA. I hold myself to high standards with everything I go through in life.  My plan is to major in pharmacy, I'm also interested in accounting and engineering. My ultimate goal is to become the best softball player I can potentially be and play at the college level. I fully understand that academics are the most essential element of college and life overall. I would love to attend a University that can provide an outstanding education to prepare me for my future and the opportunity for me to play with a competitive softball program.
