Personal Statement
My name is Noelle Thomas and I am a junior at Newport High School, Class of 2019. I would love the opportunity to help a college softball team win championships while earning a degree in medicine.
As a freshman I started all varsity games in the outfield, earning 4A All-League honors. I have earned a reputation for having a great arm, range and speed in the outfield as well as being a gap to gap hitter. On both my select (Bellevue Blast 2000) and high school team, I hit fourth in the lineup. As a student, I carry a 3.9 GPA and feel fortunate to have found a career path that is mentally challenging and meaningful and will help me contribute to my community. I strive to have balance in my life. I also participated in drama, was Link Crew Leader and took classes at Lake Washington Technical College to become a certified nursing assistant. I am a leader on and off the field. I was given the coaches award this year because of my athletic contribution and helping the team to stay unified when we hit bumps in the road. I am driven by my goals and look forward to pursuing success at the next level. Thank you.
