Personal Statement
My name is Grace Tanferani and I've played softball since I was 6 years old. My hope is to play through college and beyond. I want to be a zoologist/entomologist as I've always been curious about mammals and insects of all types. This sport has given me drive and passion since the day I started playing, and without it, I'd have too many holes in my life to count. In the dugout I have a playful spirit to help keep my teammates up and loose, but I also know when it's time to focus and dig deep. The mental side of my game is strong, and it takes a lot to shake me out of my zone. Playing softball is the best thing I could think to do with my time, and I am so grateful for the opportunities, friendships, and growths its given me. Its really exciting to me that I will get to up my competitive level with a team of girls who feel the same way and are experiencing the same things as me at a college level.
