Personal Statement
I live in a limited sports community, but have excelled in my sport by practicing hard , traveling far to play for year round team, and am passionate for my sport. I have played basketball, volleyball, and softball for both of the schools in my community every year up until high school; you are not allowed to play for two schools in your high school years. I have been playing softball/baseball since T-ball when I was 5, and have loved it ever since. I, like everyone else I’m sure, imagine the day when I sign a sports scholarship at the college of my dreams! One of my favorite things about sports is working with a team. The camaraderie, excitement , the energy the team builds up and feeds off each other, the judgment free support , and the sisterhood of long time friendships made; just to name a few. There are no words to describe the feeling I get when I step on that field and everything else melts away.
