Katie Travis '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katie Travis and I am a Junior at University High School. I have always dreamed of being a collegiate softball athlete for as long as I can remember. I always watch the College softball games and I just love the atmosphere it has. The reasons why I would be a great candidate for your team is that I am a great leader. I always work hard, and I won't let myself do anything than my best. I work well with other people and since softball is a team sport, I will stand behind my team.  Some things that make me different from other recruits is that I will always put my academics before anything else. I have a 4.0 GPA and I would like to maintain my GPA throughout high school. I also really care about how I am as a person. I am always coachable and love to get constructive criticism. One main goal of mine in college is to be the best I can be. Of course, everyone wants to win a World Series, but I also want to have fun and work myself until I am who I achieve to be.
